About

Hello, I’m Faye!

Welcome

I hope you grab yourself a cuppa, get cosy and make yourself at home here. I’ll be sharing my stories and what it’s like flaring through life with chronic health conditions. You’ll be with me through the highs and the lows, the good and the bad, the laughter and the tears, as well as the wins and the defeats. So, welcome to my little life.

My Little Life

I live in a little village in Staffordshire. I’m a mum of two and my house is also home to a Cocker Spaniel named Betsy (or Boo as we call her) and a Shihpoo named Bonnie. I enjoy reading, writing, journaling, arts, crafts and when my body allows, adventures, swimming and exercising.

Career

I have a degree in Psychology with Counselling and a career in HR but what I’m most professional in, is fighting my own body. I have a number of chronic health conditions that I’ve battled for 18+ years, and have lots of stories to tell, which is how I’ve ended up here.

I suppose what this page is for, is personal growth and clarity. A little area where I can show myself compassion and share my story, my journey and my progress. Maybe I’ll help someone or build a community of like minded people in a world that can be quite isolating at times.

Either way, come stop by and make yourself at home. All are welcome here.

Welcome! Grab a cuppa, get cosy and make yourself at home. Here, we’ll talk about flaring through life, one flare up at a time. Join me in discussing chronic illness and duvet days, and how to make the most of living an unpredictable life.
